Bamboo Cottages is a really special spot on Phu Quoc. We stayed in the Woodhouse hut, which had a lovely view of the ocean and the beach right on our doorstep. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. The menu was thoughtful, and we especially enjoyed the breakfast and fresh juice selections. Overall, we loved Bamboo Cottages. It’s tranquil, eco-friendly, and a lovely escape from busy city life.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
When I booked and saw the photos, I assumed the sunbeds and hammocks outside our hut were private, but they are actually shared. Just a heads up if you were expecting more privacy.

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
We really liked our cottage (no. 15). It was perfect so close to the beach, but not too close because the sea can be noisy. We absolutely loved the food at the restaurant. We had all our meals there. Very friendly staff!
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
You have many vegan options on your lunch- and dinnermenu. But nothing on your breakfast menu (it is very egg-heavy). I asked once if the cereal was possible with plantbased milk, but I got a no. When travelling I'm not as strict as I am at home, so the pancake was the only option for me (so at least I didn't have the taste of egg or milk). Maybe you can take this into consideration.

Bamboo is such a lovely place - heaven for people who just need relaxation and want to enjoy sea, sun, beach and delicious food :-)! The team is so nice, always friendly and supporting in anything :-). Clean and spacious rooms with a great bathroom and a peaceful terrace :-).

It would be even better as it is, if a massage service would be available :-) .
